Land Desktop Retirement Postcard
After learning about Autodesk retiring AutoCAD® Land Desktop®, a product for civil engineers, I came up with the concept of the product becoming extinct. I searched for an image of the dinosaur skull in the dirt, placing the image in a familiar setting for software users. I also wrote the headline copy, making sure to keep a positive spin rather than a negative one on the message. The image was eye-catching and unexpected for a direct mail piece, making clients pause to see why they were sent this postcard.
